Pirates are morons

It was bound to happen eventually given that most Somali pirates have the brains of a common stick insect. A group of these marauding miscreants prepared to attack what they thought was a commercial vessel in the Indian Ocean 1000 km off the coast of Somalia, but soon discovered their prey wasn’t as defenseless as they first thought. They were bearing down on the French naval frigate Nivose, and discovered that very important fact too late to escape. The naval ship, who had been monitoring the pirates long before, launched it’s own craft complete with a group of heavily armed commandos and an attack helicopter that fired rounds over the pirate’s heads, convincing them to stop and be boarded. Needless to say these brainiacs are out of the pirating business for the foreseeable future. To have seen the look on their faces. Priceless.
