Not a chocolate bar

What’s in a web site address? Obviously quite a lot after Mars Incorporated launched a new chocolate bar called Fling, a low calorie treat marketed primarily to women, and directed their prospective consumers to a web site. The obvious choice would be, correct? Fling Chocolate BarNope. That site promotes infidelity by offering visitors a chance to connect with others looking for some extracurricular activities outside their present relationships. Not exactly chocolate bars but perhaps just as alluring for some. Fling Adult site

The same thing happened some time ago when the Dell Computer company launched a new blog called One2One but the obvious web site address pointed to a hardcore porn site. I’m guessing that they check the domain name before launching new products these days. I understand you can still hear the collective DOH! reverberating through the corporate halls of Dell to this very day.
