Tom Harrison Interview

People
I sat down with Tom Harrison yesterday for the April Road Podcast and chatted about the music business before and after the Internet, his vast vinyl collection and some of his favourite bands. The police car and the Ferrari

Of Interest
I was one of the lucky souls that was heading down the Barnett highway shortly after a Port Moody police vehicle collided with a minivan during a high speed pursuit. The story is the Port Moody Police spotted a red Ferrari breaking the sound barrier as it jetted down the Barnett Highway and gave chase. There's really no competition between a large, detroit-made blob of steel, rubber and flashing lights and a European road rocket. The police car hit some gravel on the shoulder, lost control and hit an oncoming minivan. Luckily…

Dog poop

Life in Port Moody
I give up. What's the sense of picking up your dog's poop then throwing the bag containing the poop back on the ground, leaving it there for someone else to carry to the nearest garbage receptacle? Absolutely none!! I tend to pick up bits of garbage during my morning walk with Benjamin and have been coming across more and more plastic bags containing dog droppings. I've picked up a few and other look a bit too scary to attempt retrieval without the risk of contamination. Why should I be picking up my neighbour's dog poop? Who do they think will pick it up? Well let me be the first to tell them that IT'S YOUR NEIGHBOURS THAT HAVE TO PICK IT UP!! You're dropping garbage in our yards and we're…
