My wasps

Life in Port Moody
[singlepic id=25 w=320 h=240 float=left]So I tried to be a nice guy and warn people about a small wasp nest in the woods off April Road. Bad idea. I walked by the nest this morning and some a-hole(s) had thrown the warning sign into the brush and tossed wood and rocks at the nest completely destroying it and killing the inhabitants. Attacking a wasp nest is a dumb idea to say the least but it made me regret leaving the sign and giving away the location of their home. Suter Brook Parking Follies

Life in Port Moody
Here's the latest boneheaded parking job I've spotted at Suter Brook. [singlepic id=26 w=320 h=240 float=left]This person 'parked' their car in this spot for about 15 minutes which begs the question is "Why is there an inordinate amount of morons parking their cars at Suter Brook"? There's a large number of commuters and residents that would like to know exactly where you learned to drive and if you've ever driven a crane truck before. This picture was taken on my camera phone from across the tracks in the WestCoast Express parking lot as I was trying to figure out how to get across to my spouse waiting in the Rocky Point Park parking lot. Not a great shot but you can make out the white truck cab and the boom resting against the overpass.

Greens not so green

Life in Port Moody
It's ironic that the only discarded election sign I found littering our city was for the Green Party. Perhaps if their signs could be rolled and smoked rather than recycled they would have been more vigilant. I have a new slogan suggestion for them...The Greens - Not really so green after all.
