Even as a born and bred Canadian I was fascinated with the rise and fall of Eliot Spitzer. He's the guy that, as Attorney General of New York State, went after the wall street bandits, suing the thieves that ran large and highly profitable companies they used as their personal piggy banks. It was nice to see a politician, American or otherwise, actually do something that most wanted done and aggressively sue the wolves that wear expensive sheep's clothing. Some would argue that Spitzer, had he not run for New York governor and continued his wall street manhunt, may have changed the course of a future global economic meltdown and helped avert the catastrophe that was to follow. Looking for 100 good reasons NOT to vote for the Liberals on May 14, 2013? Well look no further than I'm Laila Yuile, and This Is How I See It. Ms. Yuile's blog lists the various lies, deceptions and atrocities perpetrated by our present provincial government since their unfortunate rise to power. I'm among the guilty that voted for these Liberal a-holes but times have changed and the list makes a disturbingly convincing case to change my allegiance and future voting habits. Global Hypocrites

In our present culture, celebrities such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Al Gore, Robert Redford and other multi-millionaire jet-setters are quite vocal about how the rest of us should live our lives. They advise us to sell our gas-guzzlers and buy an electric or hybrid car, exchange our incandescent light bulbs with annoying 'green' low-energy light bulbs, recycle our garbage, compost our kitchen scraps and generally spend an inordinate amount of our precious time taking care of mother earth. Fair enough, but what about THEM? What do THEY personally do to make our earth better? By all reports, very little except gorging themselves on our finite energy resources and having a blast in the process. This became abundantly clear when Al Gore was exposed as a green douche-bag when it was revealed…
