Banker Bailout

Animals, Of Interest
Joel Armstrong, a Spokane, Washington banker, spotted a mother duck and ducklings preparing to make a perilous leap from his office window so helped them make their way to water. It's stories like this that make you think there's hope for mankind after all. And one of the few stories where comments about the actions of a member of our financial community are wholly positive. A Very Good Place

Animals
“You can judge a man's true character by the way he treats his fellow animals.” ― Paul McCartney There's a very good place in Mission, B.C. called SAINTS, a beautiful place for senior and special needs animals that takes care of the animals no one seems to want. Those in their advanced years, crippled, abused or suffering from mental issues. The plight of poor Lennox

Animals
On May 19, 2010 Lennox, a 7 year old American Bulldog Lab cross, was seized by Belfast City Council Dog Warden in Ireland and locked away in a secret location awaiting euthanization. Lennox's family was threatened by the Belfast dog warden who advised them over the phone “If you do not sign him over to us to be destroyed then you will most certainly lose your job as we will force a prosecution…

Animals
Gypsie the dog has left the neighbourhood and we'll all miss her, even our buddy Benjamin who was at the receiving end of her bark from time to time. The neighbours who took the time to stop and say hello will miss seeing her walks up and down our street accompanied by the three members of her family. Losing a pet is extremely hard for most of us as they take an important place within the family structure and tend to navigate their way through our lives, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts and minds. They become such a part of our families that life without them is unimaginable but, due to their unfairly short lifespans, they leave us far too soon. Gypsie was a sweet little thing, defensive…
